This role will play a vital role in forging the path for Nativo’s new self-service business unit, representing a unique opportunity to own the growth of a previously untapped client base. This individual will be responsible for client prospecting and sales efforts, developing native and content marketing solutions to reach client goals, and effectively monitoring self-service campaign execution, offering guidance to ensure platform success for accounts nationwide. You will play a critical role in cultivating client relationships and driving business growth.

 

What you'll do:

Sales + Relationship Management

  • Identify new business opportunities / key prospects, assess inbound leads, and manage client outreach to expand self-service advertiser base and drive growth in key verticals
  • Assist with sales efforts and develop account strategies to deliver revenue growth, including identification of renewal and upsell opportunities to meet half-year revenue quotas
  • Generate a high volume of sales-related activity including calls, emails, meetings, and presentations
  • Strategically manage, maintain, and grow client relationships

Customer / Platform Success

  • Onboard advertisers to the self-service platform, developing client expertise in native; monitor campaign execution and provide guidance to ensure platform success for accounts nationwide
  • Consult with clients on their content marketing needs; provide ongoing support for active and completed campaigns
  • Ensure campaigns are performing and pacing on-target, offering recommendations to optimize and exceed client goals
  • Increase client retention through strategic outreach and ongoing education

Education

  • Position Nativo as the premier self-service platform for native and content marketing through client-facing meetings, presentations, and verbal/written communication
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Nativo platform and best practices for campaign management to educate clients about the most relevant tactics for their business goals

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as in-house consultant to provide education and support to Client Success Managers, Sales Planners, and Account Executives to capture self-service leads and potential new business
  • Function as the voice of the client to provide product feedback and guide ongoing innovation/platform enhancements

What you need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital advertising sales, account/campaign management, and media
  • Experience with campaign management across multiple self-service platforms and publishers and adept with all layers of targeting and optimization
  • Knowledgeable about native advertising and content marketing
  • Experience in a client-facing role; outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Strong history of delivering business growth, innovative campaign strategy, and flawless execution
  • Proven success at managing a high volume of sales activity, campaigns, and competing priorities
  • Keen ability to identify client business needs and proactively devise solutions
  • Self-motivated; strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment
  • Solutions-oriented and innovative thinker
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Capacity to learn and apply new technologies quickly
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Communication, Marketing, or a related field
